About The Film

‘Innocence’ is the story of teenagers conflicted between their natural need to be part of  Israeli society by serving in the military and their sensitivity and moral values. This conflict led them to take their own lives.
They were sensitive, idealistic souls, who wrote poems and diaries which exposed their gentle minds and defiance of the conformist society and its militant values; Still, they all became soldiers.
However, a feeling grew inside them, that they can no longer fit in with this reality.
Their stories are told through narration by those who are no longer with us, and scenes allowing for a unique, broad and deep observation at the experience of growing up in Israel.
